Cyanotype

These are 170 year old printing process, producing distinctive blue- green prints.

Examples

The white sections are covered in the printed asotane then the blue parts have had the light on.

I like these examples
they use pictures of the landscape and natural objects then expose them to create this effect which could emulate in my work to experiment.

Final Image

Overall this worked successful and I think its very eye catching, the detail of the trees also looks good as it has a very feathery delicate look

Photogram

We used light sensitive photo paper to create the chemograms.

Then we either stamped objects or printed our hand prints using a chemical called fixer and finally to develop the picture we left it in developer.

Finally stop light effected the picture and it loosing the effect we soaked it in water.

Final images

Overall the most effective print was your hand print because it shows the fine detail if your skin with the contrast of white against black.
