Pin-hole Camera 

Overall this worked fairly well as you can see the lake and outline of trees in the landscape then different tones of colours from the reflection of the sky in the water and trees. Some sections have not exposed as well as other which may mean o didn't expose it for long enough.

Slit-Scan Photography 

This technique is a photographic and cinematographic process where a moveable slide, this has been cut making a slit, it is then inserted between the camera and the subject to be photographed. 

 Final Image

I created this effect using a photography app called twist where I experimented with different scenes and modes to give the distorted, wave like shapes that links with chais as it looks as if everything is being pulled into the centre and the photo has come alive. It also mirrors whats happening in the water with the droplet ripple effect as i used the mode where the slit moved from the centre out.

Emulation 4

When i was researching chaos and order photography I came across the artist Gerhard Richter, this artist takes pictures of commercially processed images such as images whilst on holiday, in his studio, or walk in the park which are all either duplicates or ‘album rejects’.  He then uses oil based paint made up of various colours and smears the paint across the photo using a plastic blade. I linked ths with my theme of choas and order as it shows a expressive tecnique and the mixing of two medias to create all unique pieces of splattered smears of paint.

Emulation 3 
   This photo is by Kirsty Michelle will be my final emulation which
reflects my chaos theme with the overgrown forest and the intertwining branches, the figure in the distance also shows order with the well-dressed figure which gives a more serious and sole feel.

Overall the composition of the photograph isn't quite the same as the original but the way the trees and the environment almost swallow up the figure gives the same effect as the original and the contrasting black and white gives a sinister feel also.

Emulation 2 

The second emulation I'm going to try is by the photographer Louis Lander Deacon who uses colourful thrown dust to create a smash of morphing colours static in a shot giving mayhem and drama to a somewhat calm enviroment behind. I love the kaleidoscope of colours he creates and the way each photo is almost frozen in time, and also how parts of the face and body is covered which adds an eree mood.

Overall this worked successful with the way the two halves contrast so vividly which mirrors my chaos and order theme with the splashes of exciting colour for chaos and the bare face symbolising the order.

Emulation 1 

For my first emulation I've decided to look at Brno Del Zou with her  photo sculptures, I love this collection he's made because each one joins together really effectively the way he positioned each different angle. I think it works well with my theme also because the layered images gives a distorted chaotic theme then on the other each individual photo is ordered. I will use the same technique and set out each photo in a similar way he has in the photo I choose. 

Final Piece

Overtall I like the whole composition and the way I laid it out as similarly as I could, I used photoshop to create the layered effect which was easier to get the right scale of each photo. I then made it monochrome to emulate the phtographers effect and found some exposed more then others as some photos faced the light then some against. 

  

Here i tried to play with the darkness and it changed the background colour also which wasn't quite right.

AV and TV 

This photo I've taken uses the AV mode which allows you to change the aperture whilst the camera changes the shutter speed. The effect overall gives a shallow depth of field, then shows all the finer detail of the flower and the delicate rain drops. I like the vibrant contrasting yellow and greens and like how it emphasis's on the flower then the background is blurred.
